The RC7 multi-purpose audio and video recorder is a portable DVR (miniature DVR) suitable for multiple use: thanks to its extremely compact dimensions and to the specal "phantom-type" power feeding circuit, it can suit virtually every kind of recording situation.

This portable DVR is compatible with virtually every type of CCTV cameras, surveillance cameras, CCD cameras, CMOS cameras: powered by a single (optionally available) 12VDC power supply/source it features extremely compact dimensions (4.2"x3.2x8.9" - 10,5x8x22,2cm) and weight (10.7oz - 300gr) allowing even body-worn applications.

The RC7 compact DVR can equally connect one single miniature/CCTV camera with microphone or one camera and one microphone separately: the embedded "phantom-type" power feeding circuit will power camera and microphone from the very same source powering the miniature DVR.

Applications are endless as this system can be effectively used in a vehicle as well as within your premises, or even body-worn. System uses ordinary SD/MMC memory cards to record both audio and video in AVI format: a special feature allowing the choice to record full motion video or single snapshots is also provided included with the whole package and motion detection recording is definitely available.

Any ordinary CCTV monitor or TV set can be used to playback the recorded audio and video: easy programming and playback operation is allowed thanks to the user-friendly OSD menu. The RC7 system has a maximum resolution of  640x480 pixels for snapshots and 320x240 for full motion video.

System supports SD/MMC memory cards up to to 2Gb for an overall maximum memory capacity of 28800 snapshots and 4850 video clips of 10 seconds each on a 2Gb SD/MMC card.
