The smoke detector long-distance wired microphone microphone is a passive hidden wiretapping system specifically design for intercepting audio converstations in a given room or area.
The three main advantages of this system are:
- it is extremely hard to detect because it is totally passive (it does not send out any RF signal and it has been assembled with low-resonance components);
- it is carefully hidden inside an ordinary smoke detector (not working) for maximum concealment;
- it is able to send room audio down to ordinary cables (not included) up to a 2mi/3km distance (i.e.: from the monitored area to the listening post a maximum 2mi/3km distance is allowed).
Besides, the special microphone capsule and embedded preamplifier make it a truly professional piece of equipment as follows:
- operating range from listening ranges from 30 to 300sqft/10 to 100 sqm
- frequency response 250-5000Hz
- 100dB/mW sensitivity
- S/N ratio 65dB, 1Khz at 1 Pa
- embedded surge protector
- impedance 600Ohms
- power supply 8-20VDC
- power consumption 25mA
- embedded noise and echo cancellation cirtuit
- embedded acoustic preamplifier for direct connection to audio recorders or speakers
- operating temperature -25+70°C
- dimensions 2"x5" - 50x103mm
- weight 2.86oz/80gr
Super compact assembly allows quick and easy installation, whereas the ultra-miniature 0.32"/8mm-wide microphone capsule hole makes this microphone perfect for extended monitoring operations.
Comes inlcuded with special power transducer to derive power feeding from 110/220VAC mains directly. Microphone color is available either in black or white (please specify when ordering), whereas the connecting wires between microphone and transducer are not included; any 4-wire shielded cable can be used up to a 2mi/3km lenght.
